Mr. Gall directs the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, the Wespenmusikanten (ethnic music ensemble), and instructs brass and percussion lessons. A native of Port Washington, WI, he received his Bachelor of Music degree, magna cum laude, from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in 1990. While at Lawrence he served for two years as student assistant conductor to Robert Levy, director of bands (now retired). He taught for six years at Washington Junior High School in Kenosha before coming to Kimberly High School in 1996. Mr. Gall serves as the musical director and conductor of the Kenosha Pops Concert Band, an adult summer community band that performs weekly concerts throughout the summer on Kenosha's lake front bandshell. He has served as a sabbatical interim conductor for the Ripon College Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Lawrence University Jazz Band. Mr. Gall plays tenor horn and is a vocalist with Dorf Kapelle and performs semi-regularly with the Big Band Reunion on trombone. He played trombone with the Green Bay Packer Band for 19 years. He is a board member of the Wisconsin Bandmasters Association and received the 2011 Youth Mentor Award from the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame recognizing his work with Wespenmusikanten.
