Shari Beck donated countless hours of her time volunteering for the Kimberly Band Boosters, Inc. She held many different roles over a 15-year time span as the President, Secretary, and Uniform/Fundraiser coordinator. She enjoyed spending time with the students, teachers, and volunteers.
According to Shari, "Time is a gift that’s better than money. Time is something so precious that even the richest person can’t buy more." Volunteerism is an important part of a student's experience as it prepares you to give selflessly in the years to come. In honor of Shari's dedication to the Kimberly Band program, and her spirit of volunteerism, we would like to celebrate one (1) Kimberly High School senior band student who has made the Kimberly Band program stronger with the gift of their time and leadership. To Apply - Complete & Submit the Online Application where you will be asked to list your volunteer efforts in the Kimberly Band for each year of your High School career. This can include efforts where you exhibited leadership or going above and beyond during school hours. Note: This scholarship can be combined with the Band Booster Scholarship. |
We can all make this a better world by donating our time.
